Also, according to the French Translation (please don't fully rely on this until we get our own announcement here), we get a $1 bonus for 200 days as refund of the quest if you finish it till the end.

And there's something about some gifts changing shape on Christmas (25th December), but I'm not sure what that's about?

I've just finished making the guide for this quest and I believe the total cost is actually 200 $$$.

I think I'm going to finish this one on my main doll as well, she should have just enough money for that. The quest is not too expensive, the gifts are really nice (love the retro furniture) as well as the room, the +1 per day is good idea and the possibility of getting suprise gifts later on is really tempting.

One doll that I did it on started out with 1309 and ended up with 1114--- I know that on a previous quest where the price varied from what I had and I believe Faechild86 had, in one step the items that were supposed to be the same price had different prices. Like if you could choose a pillow or a footstool, one of the two would be higher.  That could be the difference.

It was pointed out on the French Forums that these are intentional and will change on Christmas Day to actual gifts.

Now that's something to look forward to!

One of the first quests I did on this site when it was the French site (back when there was a MDD), I did a quest that had pumpkins that would change into other gifts... but I couldn't finish it so I still have those pumpkins.  I'm wondering if a person cannot finish this quest, that might happen to them as well.

I don't believe that it will make you gain 9 a day.  It will just extend the amount of days you'll get that extra Diva Buck.  It will add 199 days, or at least on the other doll I did it on.. that's what it will add.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what happened. There's almost always at least one bug during the first several hours of a quest so I was confused when there wasn't any this time. Good to know I was wrong and everything's same as always, lol :)

I caved in and did this quest. ;w; I hope that this year's X-mas quest doesn't go over 200$.

Also, I think it does add up with how much you earn in a day. I earn 8$ a day, but after completing this I got 9$ instead with both talents. Just adding my two cents here.

You are correct!

I didn't notice the spindly trees, and I thought those were cups not candles.

It seems like it was just yesterday I was looking through My Things, mousing over the house facade and the item was  just a bigger version of the thumbnail. Then today I was putting together another of my doll's Duplex room and noticed that some of the items had that film icon next to it and the house facade was darkened and decorated with lights. I'm glad I wasn't going crazy.

I wonder if they will stay this way, or change back after Christmas. Wouldn't it be cool if they reverted back, then changed to the Christmas look come December 20th (or near that) 2016?

That's a neat idea! I also wouldn't mind if the items had this action icon so we could ourself choose which one we'd like to use. I love the dress with the additional gold embroideries but I would rather get the white house instead of the one with lights.
