Today is April's Fool Day (April 1st).

Time to bring our the pranks. Send those new small fish to your friends. aomd_mdr

Log in today or tomorrow to receive a tiny little gift in your loft. You will be able to stick out your tongue on OMD. :P

I got a heart (and some fish from friends) In my loft, I had the little heart "tatoo" on my doll, but I don't think it's there any longer. I noticed that aubreydane has the heart as well, which doesn't stick to the doll.

Maybe the tongue sticking out will be like the lips that blew bubbles last year.

I guess that is NOT a little red heart.... it's a TONGUE!!! that doesn't stick =)

For some reason I got this plain white background in my loft. Is it a joke or a glitch?

There have been problems with the game's servers all day long today. Both the game and the boards either weren't loading at all or were loading very slowly. As I understand the biggest issues were fixed but there still may be some glitches. It was said on the french forum that it all should be fixed tomorrow.

Yes, I had that as well but it went away.

Yes, the GM said that the servers crashed this morning. So I hope all will get fixed.

I love how the gift is literally JUST a tongue. I can now use it for any set of lips easily ^^

So I have two heads and no separate tongue anymore, but one of the heads stick to my dollz body, but the other one doesn't.
I was able to move that "white wall/screen? earlier, but I think that was the glitch that turned into the head.
So some dollz have 2 heads and others only one. Is that if they clicked on the item earlier today or not?

As near as I can figure, if you received the "doll head" it goes on your doll, then the "tongue" is placed on that "doll head" , The tongue will stick to any models that you have too.

Not a single one of my dolls got any heads, just a non-stickable tongue so far.
I feel bad for Feerik. Fixing crashing servers and trying to implement something new to the game can't be easy.

I have sent the GM a message about this to see what is going to happen.
I know some got one of the gifts, two gifts or none at all so I will let you all know what the GM says.

I'm like 99% sure that the head was not a gift and just a bug instead.
I think only the tongue was supposed to be a free gift. And the hanging fish were things that the players could give to others with gift certificates.

This is the answer that I got regarding this matter

So, this is basically the explanation I got about the April fools issue.

There were two different gifts to receive, one was a white background that transforms and the other was an item with a tong sticking out, there were also friends gifts planned for the first of a April.

-The friends gifts (paper fish) were prolonged to the 3rd of April, so normally there was enough time for the players to make us of them.
-The gift with the tongue sticking out given to the players was also prolonged to the 3rd so that more players could get them.
-There was supposed to be an April fools' joke where we made them believe in a bug by putting a white background item in their loft, but most people couldn't see it on the 1st. Unfortunately that last thing couldn't be prolonged or repared...

I knew it! That white background did indeed fool me when I saw it, I purposely went to my loft because that's usually where they do the April Fool's jokes. I waited a bit for my items to 'load in' and then decided to click around and discovered the background. It did appear in My Things for a while but then the head bust replaced it. Boo, hiss~
