Buying Fee'z w/ Paypal in Firefox: "Your connection is not secure"

Hi all,

I've purchased fee'z via Paypal using the Firefox browser many times before with no issue. Today, I'm trying to make a purchase so I can do the 2nd ending for the quest. When I confirm my purchase via Paypal and get redirected to the OMD, I get this message:

Your connection is not secure

The owner of banque2.feerik.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

banque2.feerik.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.
An additional root certificate may need to be imported.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

If I click on Go Back, I get a message from Paypal: "You've already completed your purchase. Please click Close to continue to the merchant." Then, I get the Firefox message again, and it's basically an endless loop until I refresh the page. Although I confirmed the payment via two separate tries, neither my OMD account or Paypal account are showing that anything went through.

Given the error message - and seeing that this is the first time I've ever had an issue, I'm a little concerned. Anybody else seeing this?

Unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to try it but will report it. Did you check tour cookies? They tend to interfere with payments in general.

Yep, cleared cookies/history and also tried a private window (which isn't supposed to save cookie information).

I even went with the obvious solution: a different browser. Both Chrome and IE gave me this after I confirmed payment (instead of the Firefox message above):

503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Too strange; hopefully, it can be fixed before the quest is over.

I know they were having trouble with the payment options not to long ago when all the different dresses were up for grabs each day and maybe they are still having the same problems.

Yeah probably related to the issue we've seen before. Reported to the GM.

Tried it again today and still the same message.

However, I noticed that the middle option to pay with a Bank Card also had the Paypal logo, so on a whim, I tried it. This time, it went through without a hitch, just a different payment screen.

In summary --
The bad news, is the error is still happening.
The good news, I can at least do the 2nd ending of the quest before it's over. :-)

That is great to hear but yeah like you said, the first option needs to be fixed.
