How do you decide what to buy next?

I was just wondering what to spend my $$$ on... there's a couple of ideas for outfits I'd like to buy, I want to work my way through the levels and also buy all the steampunk magic wardrobe outfits... but I just can't decide which goal to work on!

Which lead me to wonder how everyone else decides what to spend their $$$ on and how they prioritize?
Are there any goals you're working towards, or do you just buy whatever catches your eye?

I usually buy stuff according to the color/theme I have going on for a certain room. Once i'm pretty much done with a room, and haven't decided on how I want to decorate the next one, i'll buy a set from the wardrobes. I usually try to do the levels as they come out.

I used to love shopping for outfits from the stores, but I find that I love decorating my loft too. There are simply too many levels for me to complete so I don't do them :p

So the way I spend money is I save up for the adventures so I cant get new furniture or rooms but if I don't like it that week, then I allow myself to spend up to 50$ since I can save up that much for the next adventure. Then I go ahead and buy new outfits :) As for wardrobes, I actually love the Steampunk collection. it has a lot of nice hairstyles, if you really like it I think it's a good idea~

I like to try different things for my different dolls. For example, my 'main' doll - historygeek - is used for whatever I want & adventures while I focus on the color blue & nursing for my historygeek5 doll.

I just buy everything I like. I got the gothic/artistic/other looking for my doll. I mainly save up (try to ) until I can't handle it anymore and go on a shopping spree. My rule is if I like it, then buy it ^.^ I love the wardrobes because you get 5 things for 25$, and if I like the clothes in the OMD boutique I'll get stuff from there to. Mostly just buy from wherever XD And with the money left over (if there is) I get stuff for the garden (:

I like to collect the exclusiv items from flash sales which is usually enough to empty out my pockets ouf

One after week saved and got some money I just have a uncontrollable feeling to spend! Next minute I know I have only 1$$$ honte I usually spend on the garden when I don't want to spend on the garden I buy tiny cute pieces of accessories matching the outfit I am wearing My clothes are mostly from flirts! mdr
