This is a discussion about people deleting their own posts JUST so they can re-write it again and re-post it, so it becomes ontop. Why are people being so selfish?
What do you think about it?
Any other comments?
thats unnecessary to mee.... i understand how you feel pinkbow... i think that if you just wanna stay on top wait for people to look and comment on it... all it takes is timeee
I agree with sparklehearts. But sometimes your post is getting way too off and nobody's going to take a look again. This is a feeling almost everybody gets in life and let's say it's a special crisis.
-----------
This post is a bit... too mean don't you think? You know people and who they are but this is their choice. It doesn't really matter if they top yours right? So our idea is a bit selfish too.
It's an opinion, not a fact. People can take it how they want.
It is not ment to crush anyones feelings.
I think it's an unnecessary action.
And, no I don't think this post is mean, or harsh in someway.
What's the point of deleting your post THEN making a new one anyway?
However, I also don't think that they're being selfish. Perhaps that they want people to know more about what they wrote or their idea, but don't even notice that when people comment on it their post actually goes on top.
I think it's obnoxious personally. Sadly it's not currently against the rules.
I agree Nikkz, 'selfish' was a bad description. I just couldn't think when posting it, haha.
I also agree with Anyamalfoy... it would make a good rule. Sadly it isn't one.

It is a form of bumping, which IS against the rules. I've just added a clarification to that rule to cover delete/repost bumping.
I used to have a post like this, which was the reason for asami adding the rule to not do it in Clubs & Contests. [It was deleted because I felt...well, it's complicated.]
One post went like this:
If they want popularity, let them have it!
Which I strongly disagree with. :)
